As Google expands its plans to take over the world (or at least the world wide web), Google will launch Nexus 7, its latest Android Tablet, on July 19th (in the UK... darn the US Dollar!).  Rumor has it that American retailers should see this machine on July 27th.

The Nexus 7 will feature the Jelly Bean 4.1 Platform.   Jelly Bean overtakes the Android market as the fastest and smoothest version with the Google Search experience incorporated.  With the Jelly Bean, notifications are expandable and action can be taken within the notifications.  No more exiting notifications and opening apps.  Jelly Bean's widgets have a mind of their own.  They resize to fit the home screen and all the apps move on their own to make room.  Jelly Bean's language model "learns" over time, guessing the your next word as you type.  Android Beam on Jelly Bean takes picture and video sharing to a whole new level.  No more syncing.  Pictures and videos on NFC enabled Android devices can be easily moved from one to another by placing the devices back to back and tapping!

Time for specs!

Also, pre-order now and Google will help you get started on your online addiction with $25 to spend at the Google Play Store. Reminds me of the free bus trips to Atlantic City where the driver gives you $20 for the slot machines.

As I contemplate on which tablet that I want to invest my $200, the Kindle Fire, Nook, or Galaxy Tab, I believe the Nexus 7 is the best in its class.

Yes, I believe there may be a slot machine app....
