Kelly-Falls and Malik are co-chairs for the Outside Track within the Professional Segment of the Learning Tracks. During our conversation, both explained why the track sessions should be a priority for conference attendees, as they carefully planned these presentations and panels to provide new and effective ways for improving skills and personal professional development. Industry experts are scheduled to present their individual and unique perspectives for career building, transition, and establishing a professional presence in the supply management field.
Malik explains the concept behind one of the Outside Track sessions titled Emerging Professionals: Should I Stay or Should I Go? which features a panel of emerging professionals discussing their reasons for staying with the same company for their entire career or moving from company to company, moderated by Source One Director Diego De la Garza. He was selected to present based on his experience of almost seven years at Source One, where he has grown as a supply management professional and established Source One's Nearshoring practice.
As Diamond Sponsors of ISM2017, Source One is honored to be the exclusive sponsors of ISM 2017's sub-conference ExecIn. A private event for supply management leaders that offers a unique opportunity for organizational decision makers to network and discuss the challenges facing their companies. In addition to being included on the Outside Track, Source One's VP, Operations William Dorn is included on a panel during the Bust Track of the Economic Segment on Procurement Transformation: Is a GPO right for your organization? With all these experiences to look forward to, the Source One team is pretty excited for ISM2017!
