Hospital group appoints supply chain expert to teamLHP Hospital Group recently announced it added three key additions to its executive team, including Jason Whitehair, Andrew Montgomery and Kandis Thompson.

Whitehair was named the vice president of human resources, Montgomery was named the vice president of supply chain and Thompson was appointed as the vice president and corporate controller.

"We are delighted that Jason and Monty are joining the LHP team," said Tom Frazier, LHP's executive vice president of administration. "We expect that Jason will play a key role recruiting and retaining excellent talent to LHP, and he brings a strong track record of doing so throughout his career. Similarly, we are confident that Monty will contribute to LHP's healthcare leadership through new, quality-based initiatives that ensure LHP derives the greatest value from our supply expenditures and resource utilization."

Montgomery previously served as the vice president for supply chain at the Parkland Health and Hospital System, where he restructured the company's supply chain system successfully. The new vice president is expected to do the same at LHP with its supply chain management.

LHP also recently teamed up with the Seton Family of Hospitals to establish the first new hospital in Bell County, Texas, in 35 years. The facility is 192,400 square feet and represents a joint venture between the two organizations to create the Seton Medical Center Harker Heights.
