Source One Gives Back at Cradles to Crayons

As Source One's procurement team continues to celebrate its 25th anniversary, we're giving back to the community that's been our home for all these years. 

Poverty effects nearly 130,000 children in Philadelphia alone.  On November 14, 2017, Source One's Willow Grove Office joined Cradles for Crayons to lend a hand in helping kids in need.

The organization, founded in 2002, aims to connect communities that have with communities that do not. They do so by collecting and distributing essential items for children from birth to age 12.  Operating Giving Factories in the Chicago, Boston, and Philadelphia areas, they employ over 50,000 volunteers to serve over a million children.

The volunteer event was a great opportunity for team building.  More importantly, however, it provided our area's children a brighter future and the chance to thrive at home, school, and play. As supply management consultants, the team was very familiar with the kitting exercise and was eager to help assemble packages of shoes, clothes, school supplies, and toys to be delivered to children across the area.
