Lindsey Fandozzi speaking at IMA's Spring Conference

Source One Director Lindsey Fandozzi will be speaking at this week's the Philadelphia IMA chapter's Spring CPE Conference at Widener University. Fandozzi, a frequent webinar leader, public speaker, and adjunct college professor, will speak to the chapter's attending accountants and financial professionals on the importance of thorough spend analysis. The presentation will work in furtherance of Source One's goal of increasing collaboration between Procurement and other organizational departments, including Finance.

The IMA presentation will focus on Spend Analyses, their importance to Procurement and Sourcing, and how Finance can help produce more accurate analyses as well as benefit from their data. The presentation will provide an overview of the spend analysis process, go over the steps in conducting a spend analysis, and review the procedures and methods used in the course of the analysis. Finally, Fandozzi will review real world examples of spend analyses culled from her experience performing spend analysis and strategic sourcing services for Source One.

Also speaking at this year's conference, alongside Fandozzi, are Leon La Rosa, Partner at La Rosa and Associates, who will speak on "Frauds and Fraudsters"; Joe Barkley of Academy Leadership, LLC, who will present on "Ethics Matters, Doesn't It?"; and Theresa Shea of Widener University, who will present "Business Tax Implications of the Affordable Care Act".
