After seemingly a myriad of supply chain disruptions, Boeing is nearly set to deliver its hotly-anticipated Dreamliner, according to a published report.Bloomberg reports that Boeing's latest 787 model landed in Japan on Sunday to start a week-long set of tests with All Nippon Airways Co. (ANA). That, according to analysts, indicates that the more than three years of delays that have plagued the jet's manufacturing are set to end in the near future.
The Dreamline will be tested on ANA's normal domestic routes in the country, according to the news provider. Pilots and mechanics from both companies are set to work in conjunction to ensure that the test flights go off without a hitch, industry analysts assert. ANA spokesman Hidetaka Sakai affirmed that it's "been a long wait' for the delivery, asserting that "we want to compete with global air companies with this plane."
