A donkey is a domesticated ass. Donkeys are related to horses but have longer ears and a shorter mane. Mules can be useful for carrying supplies. Donkeys were featured in the Biblical story of Jesus Christ’s birth. Jesus was born in a manger in Nazareth (or maybe it was Bethlehem of Galilee, I think?).
